St.Petersburg, FL / Dali Museum !

We ate at this crazy place in St. Pete called "Ceviche" and it was delicioso!
The menu was in spanglish, and this place was definitely hip and poppin I
suppose..super crowded on a Friday night, AND there was crazy torrential
downpour, but people kept coming in ! Food was top notch, so were the prices...ha..but
it was well worth it.

Elena and her friend Jason ordered the paella...and it was so legit and huge. I
had a little of it..I'm not really big into the scallops and clams and what
not..but it was good.

If I ever go to St. Petersburg again..I will definitely go to Ceviche. forrrrrrr
shizzleeeeeeeeeeee.

We stayed at the Courtyard Marriot downtown, and there was a fridge by the check
in area, and they had To-go martinis..haha Elena bought one just to try it out
and test its accuracy!

Next morning we went to Cracker Barrel for brunch. Cracker Barrel always
delivers the country lovin food. always.

On our way to the Dali Museum!

Elena watching one of Salvador Dali's films..

Salvador Dali thought Walt Disney was one of America's "greatest surrealists"
and they collaborated on a movie project that was finished but never really went
anywhere. It was a cool film, these were some of the sketches..some of which
didn't make the cut.

This one is cool because it's a swan standing at a lake....OR IS THERE AN
ELEPHANT THERE??? awesomeee. I wanted to take more pictures of the paintings,
but there were some serious nazi style security with nazi style patches on their
nazi style jackets.

As we left, there was some group outside the
museum giving out tickets to the 10,000 BC movie, and they were giving out Dali
cookies! haha Looks exactly like him! He had a FANTASTIC mustache!

almost readyyy....

:)

St. Pete!

Salvador Dali was a crazy man..and this museum
was awesome!

never enough of these!

I was trying to take a cool picture of the squirrel.

We were driving downtown and there was a Hollywood video that was going out of
business and had a liquidation sale, so we parked and walked..and I got Ben
Stiller & Edward Norton's "Keeping the Faith" dvd for $5 !! That movie is one of
my favorites and I was trying to find it for a while. It was quite a catch :)

This crazy tree was near some other art museum that we passed by.

I would have climbed higher had my shoes not been kinda slippery. excuses
excuses.
All in all..St.Petersburg was interesting. Ceviche was a really awesome
restaurant. The Courtyard Marriot was very comfortable (probably could have slept all day, the night valet guy was a douche bag, but the morning valet guy was way friendlier). The Dali Museum was
interesante. And Elena is always lovely company :)
FIN.
