Epcot's Food & Wine Festival (+other Disney<3)

A coworker of mine works at both Disney and Universal and we had to meet him at Magic Kingdom for him to get us in. So in the morning, Yvette and I went to Tomorrowland and waited in line to meet Buzz Lightyear.

As soon as I saw Buzz Lightyear I had to take a picture with him. There was a short line of maybe 3 kids, and as soon as I get to the front the disney worker pulls a "Buzz lightyear has to go to the command center but will be RIGHT OUT in a few minutes!" -------UGHHH whatevs. I waited maybe 5 minutes and then took this picture. haha loves him.

Then we rode Space Mountain, and then Haunted Mansion (WHICH RULES NOW BECAUSE THEY UPDATED IT WITH NEW STUFF!!) and left Magic Kingdom to go to Animal Kingdom!

It was my first time at Animal Kingdom and we were going to ride Everest (which I was opposed to, but Yvette wanted to) however the wait was too long. Then I wanted do the Kilimanjaro Safari but it was like an 80 minute wait! It was about 11:30am and I was hungryyyyyyyyyy for the food and wine festival. and then Yvette told me the safari is actually wack and they don't have giraffes (which is absurd) ...so we left.

And as we were leaving Animal Kingdom we saw this kodak area that we couldn't resist.

THEN WE ENTERED EPCOT FOR THE 2007 FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL!!!!!!!!

Argentina : Spicy Beef Empanada, Grilled Beef with Chimichurri Sauce, Dulce de Leche

(the grilled beef with chimichurri sauce was sosososo good)

Mexico : Quesadilla con Chorizo, margaritas!

Spain : Papas con Chorizo

China : Pork Pot Stickers (mmmm I cannot resist)

South Africa : Durban Spiced Chicken on a Skewer (mmm)

Italy : Lasagna Al Forno (with spinach pasta? it was delicioso)

When we were in France we met Dopey and the worst looking Snow White ever. Dopey was pretty tight. We were making fun of Snow White's hand pose she did in everyone else's picture.

We took a quick break from all the eating..it gets tiring you know..all that delicious worldy cuisine.

Yvette said that Australian food is the best every year, but this was my first F&WFestival, and we both agreed that the Australian food was a let down.

Australia : Shrimp on the Barbie, Lamb Chop with Caramelized Onions (shrimp was bland, lamb chop was tiny for $4 and I expressed how small it was and the chef was from Puerto Rico and Yvette is Puerto Rican so we made a big deal of him being from Puerto Rico, and then he gave us an extra lamb chop, thats why there are 2. haha)

Dominican Republic : Mofungo (no bueno)

I've had Dominican food before and it is delicious...but this mofungo thing was wack.

Japan : Japanese Curry, Teriyaki Chicken, Udon noodles

Other countries that were visited but we ate food and didn't photograph :

Poland : Kielbasa and Potato Pierogies (mmMM!M!MM!)
Ireland : Bunratty Meade Honey Wine (I hate wine but Yvette loved it)
France : Lemon Tart and Creme Brulee (mmmmmmmm)
Hops & Barley Market : New England Crab Cake with Barley-Lentil Salad, Boston Lager Glazed Chicken Drum (This was in the America area, and was totally delicious)
Canada : Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup

The night before we went to see BAYSIDE at The Social. It was such a good show. Go see Bayside when they come to your area!

FIN.
